Davenport House is an exclusive wedding venue near the beautiful market town of Bridgnorth in Shropshire. It is a stunning Georgian house, set in beautiful countryside and has been hosting weddings for many years.
You have the option of getting married indoors or outdoors at Davenport House, with the choice of the stunning grounds with a breathtaking view, or the Grand Hall which can accommodate up to 150 guests, or in The Saloon if you are having a smaller intimate wedding ceremony.
With exclusive-use of Davenport House, getting married there is like having your very own house party.
In the evening, The Great Hall is where the party-people can be found. As a wedding photographer at Davenport House, I have often felt like I had VIP access to a great concert when a band plays at a wedding reception…and when there is a great DJ accompanied by a saxophonist on a warm summer’s evening, you could easily mistake it for an exclusive nightclub in Ibiza! You don’t have to go far for your favourite tipple after throwing some shapes on the dance floor, with Nikki’s Bar next to The Great Hall…where you will find a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. If you and your guests want to take a break from the dance floor, you can relax in The Saloon or The Dining room.
Davenport House can accommodate up to 40 people in the nine luxurious bedrooms, including a breathtaking honeymoon suite, and the on-site rooms. A further five cottages are situated in the grounds, with each one having its own private garden.
